With the win on Sunday, India maintained their 100 per cent winning record at the ongoing 50-over World Cup, winning all their nine round-robin matches and collecting 18 points with a net run rate of 2.570. Earlier on Saturday (November 11), England got the better of Pakistan by 93 runs at the Eden Gardens, Kolkata, while Australia breezed past Bangladesh by 8 wickets at the MCA Stadium in Pune, in their respective round-robin matches on a day when the International Cricket Council (ICC) announced the four semi-finalists of the ongoing 50-over World Cup.
